Sahabat: "Bagaimana nak tambah rezeki?"
Aku: "Kenapa? Rezeki sempit ke?"
Sahabat: "Pendapatan bertambah tapi tanggungan juga bertambah."
Aku: "Kira ok la tu. Sama-sama bertambah."
Sahabat: "Mana ok nya? Kadar pertambahan tanggungan lebih tinggi daripada pendapatan. Anak-anak semua dah besar. Cost pelajaran tak macam kita dulu, sekarang semuanya meningkat."
Aku diam. Aku setuju dengan kata dia. Ini realiti.
Sahabat: "Kau macam steady je. Ada apa-apa jalan untuk tambah rezeki?"
Aku: "Ada." Jawab aku pendek.
Sahabat: "Aku dah agak. Tentu kau ada jawapannya."
Aku senyum. Dia sahabat rapat aku. Dia sedia maklum yang aku ni bukan pakar dalam ekonomi atau pakar dalam hal keewangan. Aku cuma pendakwah. Pendakwah diri sendiri dan keluarga.
Aku: "Nak dengar tak?"
Sahabat: "Baiklah macam mana nak tambah rezeki?" Ulangnya sekali lagi.
Aku: "Luaskan pengertian kita tentang rezeki!" Jawab aku pendek.
Sahabat: "Macam mana tu?"

Friend: "How to add sustenance? "
Me: "Why? Not earning enough?"
Friend: "Earnings have increased but dependents are also increasing."
Me: "That's ok isn't it both increasing along."
Friend: "What's ok about that? The rate of increase in liabilities is higher than the income of all children when they are grown up."
I kept silent. I agree with him. This is the reality.
Friend: "You're kind of steady. Is there any way to add sustenance? "
Me: "There is." I answered in short.
Friend: "I knew it. Of course you have the answer. "
I smiled. He's my close friend. He readily knows that I am not an analyst of the economy or an expert in finances. I'm just a preacher. Preacher for self and family.
Me: "Want to hear it?"
Friend: "Well then, how to earn more?" He repeated once more.
Me: "Expand our understanding of sustenance!" I replied in brief.
Friend: "How to go about that?"
Me: "What do you always mean when it comes to sustenance (earning)? Food, money ... right?"
He nodded.
Me: "Actually, sustenance is not only that, it has a vast meaning, sustenance is not just food and money, but also good health, as well as knowledge, faith, ability to worship, peace, children, vision, hearing, and so on."
Friend: "Indeed ..."
Me: "Indeed! If our understanding of sustenance is broad, our sustenance is wide. If we say that sustenance is narrow, then our income is narrow. "
Friend: "I hadn't thought about it that way"
Me: "Always remember: We are what we think. At least when we think this way, our hearts will be open. With an open heart we can live calmly even though life is tough."
